When I am sketching one of Scotland's castles or fortresses. I imagine I am there, strolling along a pathe, enjoying the landscape, and if I listen carefully, I may hear voices from the past. . . . . and, in some cases I might just feel the presence of a wee ghosty. Best of all, when I have the opportunity to actually touch a stone from which a mighty fortress was made . . . . I feel fortunate indeed.
